Odalys started her show career by going Best Junior in Sweepstakes at the Potamac Valley Borzoi Club Specialty in October 1997.

In November, she was Best in Sweepstakes at the BCOA Supported Entry in Ocala in an entry of 25.

​

Odalys started the new year with Best of Winners in three out of four shows in January for eight points and both majors. She finished with another major the first of August, to become our 49th Champion.
